Overview

Puma Property Finance has completed a £23 million loan to finance CA Venture’s development of a 393-bed purpose-built student accommodation asset located at Library Street, Belfast.

The development itself will comprise a high provision of building and in-unit amenity where residents will benefit from social spaces, group study lounges, a cinema, TV and games room, a fitness centre and substantial outdoor amenity space, including a large internal courtyard and attractive terraces. The property will be operated under CA Venture’s European platform, Novel Student.

Library Street is a strong location in Belfast’s artistic and cultural city centre, the Cathedral Quarter. The site is located 300 metres from Castle Court, one of Ireland’s largest shopping centres, and is a short walk away from Ulster University’s new campus, home to some 15,000 students.
